Performance Roofing Systems, Inc., (PRS) established in 1991 by Brian Jaeger, President, is a leader in the commercial industrial roofing industry. Brian established PRS in the basement of his home in Richfield, Wisconsin, along with a 17-year-old pickup truck, $4,000 in savings, and the help from loyal friends and family. In 1992 PRS expanded and bought 32 acres of farmland and five outhouse buildings in Richfield where he had hoped to one day move the company and centralize all operations. Meanwhile the company was operated out of a rented office building in Menomonee Falls. In Menomonee Falls Brian and his two other estimators completed some of the company's most significant jobs which enabled the company to drive sales, acquire much-needed assets, and increase profitability. Just six years after the inception of the company PRS headquarters moved to the 32 acre farmstead in Richfield, Wisconsin, and built a 4,000 sq. ft. office building out of an old farmhouse that had been there since 1860.

Today PRS is a self-sufficient organization centrally located on the 32-acre farmstead in Richfield, Wisconsin. Of the thirty-two acres, twenty-five acres are kept in their environmentally protected state. Among the inhabitants in our natural habitat are deer, wild turkey, turtles, and Canadian geese. Our eight out-buildings have been fully renovated and include our own sheet metal fabrication shop, four warehouses, and a mechanic's shop where we service our fleet of 28 trucks and four cranes.

Since our establishment in 1991, we have completed contracts for many types of facilities including schools, hospitals, factories, condominiums, retail stores, warehouses, financial institutions, and numerous industrial buildings. Some of our larger accomplishments are Milwaukee Main Post Office, Urban Ecology, Schlitz Audubon, Kohl's Photo Studio, Heritage Christian School, Boelter Stores, Cambridge Major Laboratories, and Sysco Food Service. Our quality work spans all of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and New Jersey.

We are bonded by Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland and fully insured. Since the establishment of PRS, annual sales have grown to approximately eight million. PRS currently employs 50 people on a full-time basis, with our employees ranging in experience from skilled journeyman to helpers, both in the roofing and sheet metal divisions. The administrative office at PRS currently includes seven individuals who coordinate the everyday operations of the company. These individuals perform different parts of company work ranging from estimating, project management and invoicing to answering calls about service repair work.
